Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is a career readiness and college preparatory program designed to increase students’ awareness and skills for post-high school learning.  This course provides academic instruction from an AVID-trained teacher, tutoring support, study skills, curriculum enrichment, motivational skills, and organizational skills, with an emphasis on exploration of post-high school options.
