My name is Bryan Stutz and I am honored to join the Kenmore staff as Principal and am excited to start the 2019-20 school year. I have been working as a teacher, coach and administrator since 2001, fueling my passion for working with and educating kids. During these years of serving kids and their communities, I have centered my philosophy on building relationships and ensuring that every student is known and cared for. I look forward to sharing my philosophy and passion for student learning with the community of Kenmore Middle School.
On a personal note, I am a parent within the district with my son entering fifth grade and my daughter starting her education, with the Northshore School District, as a kindergarten next year. My parent lens is important to me as principal, because it helps guide the decisions I make and gives me another perspective when working with kids. As we look forward to the many transitions in the upcoming months and years, it is important to keep our focus on our kids’ needs, and this will take all of us in partnership. I look forward to my transition to Kenmore Middle School and getting to know and understand our students. I encourage you to reach out with your experiences and I look forward to seeing you at KMS or community events.
My name is Jennifer Hernandez and I have been at Kenmore for over 25 years as a math teacher and 5 years as the Assistant Principal. I enjoy working in the Kenmore community and consider myself very fortunate to have been here for so long.. During my teaching career I have been a math teacher, math coach, and TOSA (teacher on special assignment) for the Northshore School District. I believe that all students can achieve at high levels if they are provided with the supports they need. Middle school is my passion and I am excited to work with and support the students of Kenmore each and every day.
On a personal note, I am the parent of a Bothell High and Eastern Washington University graduate and I have a seventh grader at Canyon Park Middle School. Parenting through the middle years is sometimes a challenge and I feel that I am a much more well rounded educator after experiencing teens from the home front as well as at school. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have concerns. I believe the best results happen when we are all on the same page and have open lines of communication.
I have worked for the Northshore School District since 2004 and Kenmore Middle School since 2011. The staff here is dedicated and fun and the students are hard working and entertaining so coming to work here every day is a pleasure. Each of our office staff specializes in certain topics but you can contact me with any miscellaneous questions you might have and I will work to get you an answer. We hope you enjoy being a part of the Kenmore community - Go Colts!
I love being a Kenmore Colt & have a passion for helping our students get involved! Please never hesitate to reach out, should you want more information about Athletics or our KMS Associated Student Body(such as student leadership opportunities, clubs & activities). I also manage most fines/fees and bookkeeping, and would like to be a resource to you, should you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to connecting with you!
Greetings, I’m Mrs. Twitchell and I have a split job divided between the Attendance Office and the library. I’ve been working at KMS since 2013 and really enjoy working with this age group. So much change happens between 6thand 8thgrade. Attendance is an important life skill and I strive to make sure our attendance data is correct and that student absences aren’t piling up. Please contact me with any attendance questions.
I maintain all academic records and student data. Please contact me if you need a copy of; your child's academic history, need to change your address, or anything relating to ParentVue.
If you need to withdraw your child from KMS, please let me know so I can process the withdrawal and transfer your child's records to their new school.
