Administration
Principal
Mr. Stutz
My name is Bryan Stutz and I am honored to be in my sixth year of serving the Kenmore community as the Principal of Kenmore Middle School. Kenmore Middle School continues to offer a top tier education centered around our beliefs of building relationships with our students and supporting their academic and social emotional growth. Our four pillars of being Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Engaged are the cornerstone of how we address our work and meet the needs of our diverse population of learners.
On a personal note, I am a parent within the Northshore School District with my son in high school and my daughter in her final year at the elementary level. My parent lens is important to me as principal, because it helps guide the decisions I make and gives me another perspective when working with kids. As we look forward to the many transitions in the upcoming months and years, it is important to keep our focus on our kids’ needs, and this will take all of us in partnership. I look forward to coming to work every day and working with our talented staff and our wonderful students. I encourage you to reach out with your experiences and I look forward to seeing you at KMS or other community events.
GO COLTS!!!
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Hernandez
My name is Jennifer Hernandez and I have been at Kenmore for over 25 years as a math teacher and 5 years as the Assistant Principal. I enjoy working in the Kenmore community and consider myself very fortunate to have been here for so long.. During my teaching career I have been a math teacher, math coach, and TOSA (teacher on special assignment) for the Northshore School District. I believe that all students can achieve at high levels if they are provided with the supports they need. Middle school is my passion and I am excited to work with and support the students of Kenmore each and every day.
On a personal note, I am the parent of a Bothell High and Eastern Washington University graduate and I have a seventh grader at Canyon Park Middle School. Parenting through the middle years is sometimes a challenge and I feel that I am a much more well rounded educator after experiencing teens from the home front as well as at school. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have concerns. I believe the best results happen when we are all on the same page and have open lines of communication.
