Administration
Principal
Mr. Stutz
My name is Bryan Stutz and I am honored to join the Kenmore staff as Principal and am excited to start the 2019-20 school year. I have been working as a teacher, coach and administrator since 2001, fueling my passion for working with and educating kids. During these years of serving kids and their communities, I have centered my philosophy on building relationships and ensuring that every student is known and cared for. I look forward to sharing my philosophy and passion for student learning with the community of Kenmore Middle School.
On a personal note, I am a parent within the district with my son entering fifth grade and my daughter starting her education, with the Northshore School District, as a kindergarten next year. My parent lens is important to me as principal, because it helps guide the decisions I make and gives me another perspective when working with kids. As we look forward to the many transitions in the upcoming months and years, it is important to keep our focus on our kids’ needs, and this will take all of us in partnership. I look forward to my transition to Kenmore Middle School and getting to know and understand our students. I encourage you to reach out with your experiences and I look forward to seeing you at KMS or community events.
Go Colts!!

Assistant Principal
Mrs. Hernandez
My name is Jennifer Hernandez and I have been at Kenmore for over 20 years as a math teacher. I am excited to move into the next phase of my career as the Assistant Principal at Kenmore to continue supporting the students and this great community. During my teaching career I have been a math teacher, math coach, and TOSA (teacher on special assignment) for the Northshore School District. I believe that all students can achieve at high levels if they are provided with additional support. Middle school is my passion and I am excited to support the students of Kenmore.
On a personal note, I am the parent of a Bothell High graduate and I have a third grader at Maywood Hills. Parenting through the middle years is sometimes a challenge and I feel that I am a much more well rounded educator after experiencing teens from the home front as well as at school. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have concerns. I believe the best results happen when we are all on the same page and have open lines of communication.

Greetings, I’m Mrs. Twitchell and I have a split job divided between the Attendance Office and the library. I’ve been working at KMS since 2013 and really enjoy working with this age group. So much change happens between 6thand 8thgrade. Attendance is an important life skill and I strive to make sure our attendance data is correct and that student absences aren’t piling up. Please contact me with any attendance questions.
