Basic Food in Washington, helps people with low incomes make ends meet by providing monthly benefits to buy food.
Cascadia College’s Workforce Education provides financial assistance for people looking to retrain themselves for a high-demand job. Community resource navigation is available as well.
The Emergency Assistance program helps families, single adults, seniors, and people with disabilities with a variety of emergency and basic needs.
Provides limited assistance with eviction prevention, move in costs, utilities, and heating fuel. Household must reside in King County.

Child Care Aware of Washington seeks to help every child receive high-quality child care.
Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provide no-cost or low-cost health coverage for eligible children in Washington State.

For families in need our Roadrunner Pantry offers shelf stable food, paper products, various soaps, hygiene products and more. We are open to the public during school hours.

This 24/7/365 service from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration provides crisis counseling for people going through both natural and human-caused disasters. It’s free, multi-lingual and confidential.

The Help Me Grow Washington network represents a growing, powerful coalition of communities and individuals invested in building an organized system of community resources to help families and children thrive.
Hopelink provides a network of critical social services through a number of different programs – including housing, transportation, family development, financial assistance, employment programs, adult education, financial literacy training and five food banks.
The Housing Justice Project (HJP) is a homelessness prevention program providing accessible volunteer-based legal services for low-income tenants facing eviction in King County.
Qualified families can receive internet at a reduced price, with no long-term contract required.
Kindering offers a variety of Parent Education classes and 1:1 coaching and support aimed at giving parents confidence and useful strategies as they navigate their child’s early years.
Eligible individuals and families may receive a one-time assistance for their rent, and/or emergencies. They also provide one-time utility assistance to those residing in some regions of King County.
NAMI provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

One of the hardest tasks after the death of a loved one is talking about and explaining the death to your child or children. It is even harder when you are in the midst of your own grief. This handout offers some ways to help you and your child cope together.
Members of the community are welcome to shower and take care of hygiene in certain community centers across Seattle. This program is directed towards vulnerable and homeless populations.

This Washington-based service is staffed by teen volunteers who receive 60 hours of training and often have experienced mental health issues themselves. Call 1-866-TEENLINK (833-6546) to talk by phone from 6-10 p.m. nightly or text from 6-9:30 p.m. every night.
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) provides temporary cash for families in need. Some families participate in the WorkFirst Program. The WorkFirst Program helps participants find and keep jobs.

The Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program helps provide health food and much more. Call 1-800-322-2588 or text "WIC" to 96859.
Threads and Treads provides Northshore families free, quality donated clothing for school age youth, teens, young adults and parents. Clothing items include: school-appropriate clothing for the school day and special events, sportswear, shoes, and accessories. All NSD families in need of clothing assistance are welcome to shop each month for 3-5 outfits and school event attire.
The Utility Discount Program (UDP) offers eligible customers a 60% discount on their Seattle City Light bill and a 50% discount on their Seattle Public Utilities bill. UDP is available for income-qualified residential households.

Washington Connection offers a fast and easy way for families and individuals to apply for a variety of services such as Food, Cash, Child Care, Long-Term Care, and Medicare Savings Programs.
